The position is funded by NTNU Strategic Research Area Energy and it is aimed to support existing collaboration with the two leading Chinese universities; Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Tsinghua University. The position is also associated with the current research activities at the Research Centre on Zero Energy Neighbourhoods in Smart Cities (ZEN Centre) funded by the Research Council of Norway.
